As part of the YUFE (Young Universities for the Future of Europe) network WP9 Taskforce meeting dedicated to equality, diversity, and inclusion, which was recently held at the University of Rijeka, the work of our Centre for Women’s Studies was also presented.

In her presentation, the Head of the Centre, Nadja Čekolj, outlined its core objectives and past activities. Special emphasis was placed on current activities, including the Kino učionica (Cinema Classroom) programme and the project Narratives, manifestations and impacts of anti-gender movement in Croatia.

The meeting provided a good opportunity to exchange experiences and best practices in the field of equality, diversity, and inclusion, as well as to reflect on how universities can create more open, responsible, and inclusive spaces for work, learning, and public engagement.
