The objectives of the Centre’s activities are:

  1. Enhancing information exchange, networking, and collaboration among researchers at the Faculty whose scientific work is based on or touches upon feminist and gender theory, the theory of sexuality, and sexual/gender identities, regardless of their primary scientific perspective, discipline, or field of knowledge.
  2. Promoting a multi- and interdisciplinary approach to research at the Faculty, and strengthening interdepartmental collaboration as well as cooperation between different components of the University.
  3. Connecting Centre members with national and international scientists, researchers, and artists, and developing collaboration with external institutions with the aim of applying for joint projects, thereby advancing scientific and professional work at the Faculty.
  4. Facilitating the joint presentation and promotion of scientific and professional work on the topic of feminist and gender theory, sexuality, and sexual/gender identities produced by Faculty researchers, with the aim of increasing the visibility, evaluation, and dissemination of this work within the domestic and international academic community.
  5. Launching a multi- and interdisciplinary online journal; initiating publishing activities focused on translating relevant foreign authors whose works have not yet been translated, as well as publishing monographs and edited books by domestic researchers.
  6. Enabling the introduction of courses and/or the design of educational programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and/or postgraduate levels of study.
