Diplomirala je engleski jezik i knji\u017eevnost i komparativnu knji\u017eevnost na Filozofskom fakultetu u Zagrebu te magistrirala rodne studije na Srednjeeuropskom sveu\u010dili\u0161tu (CEU) u Budimpe\u0161ti. Filmolo\u0161ki eseji i kritike okupljeni su joj u zbirci Otporna na Hollywood: ogledi iz dekonstrukcije tvornice snova (HFS, 2009.), koja joj je donijela nagradu Vladimir Vukovi\u0107 za najbolju filmsku kriti\u010darku. Kao go\u0161\u0107a predava\u010dica vi\u0161e je godina sudjelovala u programu zagreba\u010dkog Centra za \u017eenske studije i Centra za mirovne studije. Ure\u0111ivala je i vodila Zvuk celuloida na Drugom programu Hrvatskog radija i Peti dan Tre\u0107eg programa Hrvatske televizije. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/czs.uniri.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/60150255_931726993688451_616595392028475392_o-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1461\"\/><figcaption>Predava\u010dica Mima Simi\u0107 (Foto: Ma\u0161a Drndi\u0107)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>U predavanju punog naziva &#8220;\u0160to redateljice \u017eele: Tematske i formalne tendencije u filmskim prvijencima regionalnih autorica&#8221;, Simi\u0107 je na primjeru nekoliko recentnih regionalno i me\u0111unarodno nagra\u0111ivanih te priznatih debitantskih dugometra\u017enih filmova ocrtala tematske i stilske tendencije autorica s obzirom na sna\u017ene intersekcionalne potencijale trijade roda, klase i (ostataka) rata, koja neizbje\u017eno obilje\u017eava gledanje filmova s post-jugoslavenskih prostora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"692\" src=\"https:\/\/czs.uniri.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/60304091_931727467021737_7653256770827059200_o-1024x692.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1462\"\/><figcaption>Publika kino u\u010dionice (Foto: Ma\u0161a Drndi\u0107)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Rije\u010d je o filmovima redateljica mla\u0111e i srednje generacije: <strong>Maja Milo\u0161: Klip<\/strong>, 2012; <strong>Ivona Juka: Ti mene nosi\u0161<\/strong>, 2015; <strong>Hana Ju\u0161i\u0107: Ne gledaj mi u pijat<\/strong>, 2016. i <strong>Mirjana Karanovi\u0107: Dobra \u017eena<\/strong>, 2016.
